Norges Bank: The making of Norway's banknote

If ever there was a model graphic design process, this would be it. Norges Bank released an informative process film that explains the design and production of their brand new look bank note from conception to finish. Brought into circulation in 2019, these new notes follow the chosen theme of "The Sea", with one side featuring nautical-themed scenes devised by graphic design studio Metric Design and Terje Tønnessen, with the flip side displaying pixelated motifs developed by Snøhetta. The film is a pleasure to watch; this type of care and attention was the formula for good, sustainable worthy design. (Short film linked in title).
